I jus bought new lanolin spray called lavender, apple and oak and it smells like Damien's aftershave.Partyof4http://www.blogger.com/profile/09210107443550066661noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650512602532818460.post-34417425392480276392007-05-29T16:25:00.000-07:002007-05-29T16:48:04.112-07:00Quick Poncho<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk8jGofHvXR2o-_dweC7bzt_5pSUzcmn_7_T_4jrSh8UkdAVEV7Gc_gucpNRE9ZW-_-SK2_yUZSWBxpti_ImHshpAyDpmB_BLIWTL4BwSNnu-OnLIDKLDFy3Jg8iAwzW9rns5tFXwJ9iD-/s1600-h/00020.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk8jGofHvXR2o-_dweC7bzt_5pSUzcmn_7_T_4jrSh8UkdAVEV7Gc_gucpNRE9ZW-_-SK2_yUZSWBxpti_ImHshpAyDpmB_BLIWTL4BwSNnu-OnLIDKLDFy3Jg8iAwzW9rns5tFXwJ9iD-/s320/00020.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5070129231348889042" border="0" /></a><br />Using 10mm bamboo straight needles..acrylic mohair and double knitting yarn acrylic. I was so eager to finish it that I was in the laundry at 1am felting it with Damien's old king gee work pants LOL. They felted beautifully and hide many flaws. Mon proided me with a couple of pretty buttons as a fastening. You can still see the texture of my backwards knitting which looks ok. I did start on a new project. I am doing a felted knitted bag very loosely based on this http://www.helloyarn.com/lopitote.htm. I am aiming for bigger dimensions as I want to use it as a knitting bag *fingers crossed* Using 5mm 60cm circs lol..way too small but I am managing and I am decreasing gradually towards the bottom so I guess eventually it will fit. I am still wondering what to do with the base..if I want to use co-ordinated drill fabric..I also want to line the inside depending on how the felting goes. I am so impatient to finish..I hope to get it done tonight!<br />BTW, I know I am knitting incorrectly..but for some reason I prefer it this way *shrugs* lol I reverted back to correct technique now.Partyof4http://www.blogger.com/profile/09210107443550066661noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650512602532818460.post-18761283997801953142007-04-23T03:59:00.000-07:002007-04-23T04:28:31.520-07:00Beanie for Lil<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9Qe-LYJKw7YxGWezBHdeLHVgC6lLoEEej07A86-npkiP-cab9u06YNmg8PnVNnkTXiQK2ovgYZVWfI8OQRRiH5xuGfWkbPx3SbeQwtXZ1hTk1FAJ_jATDVyZI4eAW4yAhMzN7eTDudEox/s1600-h/one00002.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9Qe-LYJKw7YxGWezBHdeLHVgC6lLoEEej07A86-npkiP-cab9u06YNmg8PnVNnkTXiQK2ovgYZVWfI8OQRRiH5xuGfWkbPx3SbeQwtXZ1hTk1FAJ_jATDVyZI4eAW4yAhMzN7eTDudEox/s320/one00002.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5056577301744366738" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Knitted in the round with decreases then binded off and sewn together.
